The Sun is our primary light source. It gives light and heat to the Earth. The Sun warms up the surface of the Earth first, and then the surface heats the air. The Sun gives more heat at places where the Sun's rays reach the surface at greater angles.

Temperature can change all the time. It depends on the strength of the Solar radiation, the height of the sea level and the number of the clouds. In the mountains the temperature falls by 1 °C in every 200 m.
